Since 2004 the Navarre Krewe of Jesters has awarded $26,000 in scholarships to deserving Navarre High School graduates. In spring of 2010 we hope to award a $4000 scholarship to a graduating Navarre High School senior.

The target student will be a student that:

•  Would not necessarily be eligible for many of the other scholarships offered.
•  Has had hardships in their life that they have overcome.
•  Does not necessarily have the means available to pay for continued education but has aspirations to obtain post high school education.

The Navarre Krewe of Jesters feels there are many deserving students that may not have the very highest grade point average or other attributes that seem to favor  recipients of many scholarships. We are looking for that special person that has the drive to excel in life, but perhaps, is not a “straight A” student. We do expect a grade point average of 2.5.  We can offer a scholarship of $1,000.00 a year for four years. These funds will help pay for books, tuition or other legitimate expenses.
