The Navarre Krewe of Jesters has participated in this worthy cause for the past four years.  One of the Premier groups that appeared the second year this event was held is recognized all over Pensacola for the wearing of the Tuxedo while walking from University Mall for three miles to the Cordova Mall.
The Krewe takes a lot of pride in this walk and makes a unique showing among the nearly 5,000 walkers that show up for this event.  The Krewe has raised several thousand dollars in the past for this event and is working hard under the guidance of Calvin Curtis the committee focal point, to again raise money in the hopes of finding a cure for breast Cancer.

In 2007 the Making Strides event will be held October 27, 2007 at 8 AM starting at University Mall.
